New Systems Salesperson
Description: Account Executive - Outside Sales - B2B
To secure new business customers and sell solutions for telephone systems, voicemail, data applications, (LAN, WAN), video conferencing, fast internet access, long distance service, local dial tone, facsimile systems as well as wireless applications, products and services in the Palm Beach, Broward, and Dade County Areas.
Essential Functions: "Hunter" sales position. Spends most of time in the field prospecting for and closing new business customer opportunities. Will Travel to customers' premises to sell and demonstrate the Company's services capabilities. Uses in-depth knowledge of Company's services and products, handbooks, training guides and product reference files to assist the customer in making appropriate selections of telecommunications products and services. Explains operation of various communication services and products, demonstrating and instructing customers in the proper use of services and features. Serves as initial contact for members of the public with the Company. Directly interfaces with customers via telephone, written correspondence, or direct public contact on all matters relating to provision of business telecommunication products and services. Uses Company provided laptop computer and on-line service order system to access information for system price quotations. Maintains files of customer records, pending quotations, and other pertinent material.
Requirements/Minimum Qualifications:
Technical training or knowledge: Must be familiar with and demonstrate an ability to explain operation of various communication services and products, including Key Systems, PBX, ISDN, and broadband network services. Professional training or knowledge: Must have a demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with customers and other employees, and an ability to sell the Company's products and services. Must have the ability to learn, understand and effectively explain the Company's rates, rules and regulations. Must be able to retain information gained through training and experience, which is required for effective job performance. Must maintain a neat appearance.
Work experience:
In depth knowledge of Telephony and Internet products, services, procedures and customers.
